A New Chapter: Preparing for Our Move to Singapore

It’s been nearly 20 days since my last blog post about the spontaneous Sanxingdui trip, and I haven’t updated in a while.

So, what have I been up to? Let me share a quick update.

I’m set to relocate to Singapore on July 8 to start a new chapter. The past 20 days have been a whirlwind of preparations for this big move. It’s a complex process for our family. First, we’re moving our home from Chongqing back to Fujian, then heading to Singapore. Alongside this, we’re managing our two kids’ education and packing up inventory from our BestCeramics.cn store and lacquerware collection. Honestly, after filling five massive boxes, I’m still a bit overwhelmed. This is the luggage of a family of four, plus six years’ worth of shop inventory—it’s no small feat.

Packing belongings is one thing, but life itself can’t be boxed up. Fortunately, beyond cherished memories, there are dreams and distant horizons waiting for us to explore.

On another note, with my wife now fully involved in running our online store, I’m actively seeking new career opportunities. If you have any job leads (Learn more about Kevin’s CV), I’d be immensely grateful for your recommendations.

In Singapore, our Taiwu Hall will launch its third iteration. We’re excited to present a fresh look and warmly invite you to visit our shop someday, experience our creations, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

Here’s to meeting you in Singapore by the end of July!
